What is the name of your state? ny

What usually happens during this? Will the judge have already reviewed the testimoney from the VCO hearing in front of hearing examiner? Or will he just go in there and review paperwork?
It is a contempt charge for violating support order. He was found willfully in contempt.

Magistrate recommended 75 days jail.

Ex lied about payments he sent and lied about other things such as he "wasnt fired he was layed off" but in his petition back in Dec of 2006 he wrote specifically "i was fired from my job" and he testified this during that petition. There were other things that didnt add up. His own court appointed lawyer said he kept changing his story and "talked in circles".

Also will he have to be there in person for this hearing? All the other times he was allowed to appear by phone. This is first VCO though.

Thanks again in advance!

What was the reason for him being allowed to appear telephonically at the previous hearings?

His court appointed attorney said that to whom?

Is the court appointed attorney still representing him, or has there been a motion to withdraw representation filed?
