I am looking for some information or direction regarding my boyfriend. He has been in the US since 06/86. He came over on a visa I believe. He is from Israel and something happened where the attorney he hired messed up and ended up getting him 2 passports. One she took and the other was confiscated about 7 years ago in New York on a return trip from Israel. He has a Social Security Number, he owns a home in Los Angeles County and has a case pending for the past I believe 8 years with the INS. I have a number that supposedly I can check his status with but neither of us knows where to check. My question would be is this all possible? Is there anywhere I can get information on how to check his status, to see if there is a case pending. Can I find out anywhere how to get his passport back? I would appreciate any information anyone can provide me. He is scared to contact the attorney because he believes that on one of the passports there is a deportation notice out on his name. Thank you very much!
my e-mail address is lstearns1@earthlink.net
