How hard is it to file contempt papers? Is there such a thing? Why does a father have to fight to get an extra day during the week when helping with homework? Why can't father participate in decisions for child? Definition of visitation even though spelled out with "ending school" and starting school that...is always questioned...

You can't file contempt for not getting extra days. If the CP is denying court ordered visitation times/days- you can file a police report of each incident, then take those before a judge and file contempt.
If the NCP has joint legal custody then they have a sayso re; major medical, eductional, legal decisions. The 'wiggle room' comes in when it comes to extracurricular activities. Most times the courts allow the CP to do or not do, what they choose during their parenting time- Same for the NCP during their parenting time.
If you have problems interpreting the order (ie; last day of school is typically the time school gets out on the last calendar day of school) What does the order say verbatim re; that? Does it have a set hour or just say "the last day of school"? Either way that would only leave a period of hours up for debate...Not necessarily battle material.

Our agreement strickly states under Shared Parental responsibility :
both parties agree to abide by all aspects of shared parental responsiblity as defined in FS chapter 61. Speciifically, both parents will sharel, on timely basis, all important info they may receive regarding education, medical, extra ciricular activites.
Florida statutes specifically states: shared parental responsiblity means court-ordered relationship where BOTH parents retain full parental rights and responsibilites with respect to child and BOTH parents confer with each other so that major decisions afecting the welfare of child will be determined jointly.
If mother keeps it up an "A" student will be a "D" student and maybe lose her spot in the magnet high school she worked so hard to get into. Over the phone tutoring just doesn't help and Mom is too lazy to take her to school early for tutoring with teacher. What do we do?
We don't get any information unless we call school or get child to bring it over or tell us she did something wrong.
I have a long post with a good student turning bad posted prior to this one.
Visitation: is frequent and liberal and then their is a set schedule detailing major holidays for specific purposes..and yes it is very specified and there is way it can be interpreted incorrectly other than to give us hard time.
If child needs tutoring, why can't step mom take her for one hour and bring her back if we are willing to drive 20 miles to do so. Mom is on her way home from work in Tampa and will get home 1/2 before child. I don't see harm in that except for her stupid insecurities.
