I live in North Carolina. When my son was 3 his father suddenly wanted to see him on a regular basis. We had papers drawn up, but, now my son will start school, and the papers say that he gets him till 8:30. Can I have the papers amended, so he can have him home at 7:00?? And, will I get in trouble for not letting him keep him out of school, just after he started?

My response:

Obviously, the "papers" you have were not signed by a judge.

As such, those "papers" are worthless.

Go to court and get a proper CHILD SUPPORT, CUSTODY, and VISITATION Order.
