What is the name of your state? Wa

I know there is a charge to get transcripts of a trial. In this case I would like to know if it is possible to get transcripts of a domestic violence trial that took place? The person was convicted on 2 charges.

I am not a direct party to what occurred. However, there is a minor child that has been subjected to witnessing the domestic in the home in the past. He wasn't a witness on the day of the most recent occurrence.

Also do most police stations keep records of when they are called for a domestic dispute, even if no one is charged? If so, is it possible to get those records, or would an attorney have to request those?

You will have to contact the specific court to see what their policies and procedures for this might be. In some places the transcripts are the property of the transcriptionist and could cost a lot of money.

Yes, they would almost certainly have a record of a response to the address (even if no detail of the contact), and it most likely public record. However, it might take a court order a subpoena to obtain these documents ... and if there is no court proceeding for which te documents are needed, no subpoena will be forthcoming.
