CPS takes kids away

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MI

I stay in TN but my son lives with his mom and 5 other kids in MI.

Mom get charged with physical abuse 3rd time and the CPS gets kids taken away including my son.They all are in foster home.

What do i need to do to get custody. i have warrants in MI that i cant come back right now or even show up in court or the will arrest me. I have been talking to lawyers but havent gotten and clear answer.

Emergency Court is tomorrow

Some say i will not be able to get custody of my son because of my criminal record which is not violent.

I believe her aunt may take temp custody..

Anybody has any advice or other experience with this?

You need to clear up your warrants or you will never get custody.

Thats what im working on now.

I have a unpaid fine and child support warrant. But the child support thing my son mom will forgive the amount and talk to the case manager so we probably can get that taken off considering the circumstances.

Funny I'm only behind/owe $900 but they be hounding me like I owe 60k. The people that owe 60k they never hound nor try to collect. ??

How do you know that?

because her other 2 son fathers owes that much, never pays and never get warrants for them except once every 5 years and when they go to jail they only pay like $300 to get out. My son mom has showed me the paper work and always complained to Friend of court as to why they are always hounding me and not them.

our guess is they know i am a easy target because I work and actually take care of my son, so its easy to get money out of me to make their quotas and stats look nice

Nope dont owe any of that. i only owe $900 and i have been paying since 2001
