Generally debts and assets that accrued during the marriage are still split 50/50. However, its problematic when the debt is in the name of only one spouse. The creditors are not parties to your divorce and will only go after the party who signed the credit agreement.
One solution would be that the party who signed the credit agreement take full responsibility for that debt, in exchange for a greater share of the marital assets.
