Can a credit collection agency disclose information on an account with a spouse if she or he is not authorized by the cardholder? And if so, can the cardholder be held responsible for a payment plan made by such spouse if he or she had no knowledge of the arrangement?

YES A CREDIT CARD HOLDER HAS THE RIGHT TO DISCUSS YOUR ACCOUNT WITH YOUR WIFE (OR HUSBAND) AS FAR AS HOLDING TO ANY PAYMENT ARRANGEMENT OBLIGATIONS I DONT KNOW...I MEAN BOTOTM LINE YOU OWE THE MONEY AND IT IS YOUR INTENTIONS TO REPAY THE MONEY OWED ISN'T IT???? IF YOU REALIZE THAT YOU CAN'T KEEP UP THE PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS MADE BY YOUR SPOUSE (OR HE/SHE REFUSES TO DO SO) CALL THE COMPANY AND LET THEM KNOW. MAYBE YOU CAN WORK SOMETHING ELSE OUT

HOPE THIS HELPS
