Help? How do I rebound?

Had good credit till 2001. purchased house. Had 5 credit cards (was a student, tuition). Working 2 full time jobs.

End of 2001 my child is born, baby's father bails out. Left to manage on my own. Credit goes down the toilet.

Right now all credit cards charged off, includes crazy interest & charges stands at about $25K. House is current.

Still working full time + part time. Struggling. Father played every trick to avoid child support, so no income there.

What do I do? I can not even qualify for a cell phone, not even an apartment in a decent place if I wanted to relocate.

I can't settle on accounts, i'm broke.

HELP! HELP! HELP! HELP!

need to rebound somehow? Is bankruptcy the only way out and even then how will that look when I apply for things that pull up credit?
