What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state?Ohio
My ex husband recently moved. He gets our son every other week-end (he picks up on Friday at 6 and I pick him up Sunday evening at 6). This past week-end I asked to keep our son an extra night due to relatives coming in from out of state and that if he let me keep him I would drop him off to him. He agreed and told me to have him there "by noon" (which to me meant anytime before noon.) We had never been to the new house and didn't know how long it would take so we left with plenty of time and got there at 11:45 and they were not home. We also had my husbands kids to drop off at their mom's and pretty much had plans for the rest of the day so I called and left a message on their home phone (I'm not allowed to have his cell phone number, the new wife said I didn't need it!) to call me. He called at 12:15 and said he wasn't home because they were stuck behind an accident so I told him he could meet me somewhere in town to pick him up and he told me they weren't done unloading! Like that's my problem, but whatever! So after getting the ok from the new wife he says he wants to come pick him up at 5:00 and I told him we probably wouldn't be home so he proceeds to give me crap about not waiting until noon and proceeds to tell the new wife that I won't let him have our son for his week-end (or 24 hours as it was going to be) and then tells me he's never going to let me have our son like this ever again! (Since this is the first time in THREE years I've ever asked, I'm not too worried! But he needs to remember that is a double edged sword he's trying to cut me with! ;) ) He's never on time for his Friday pick-ups, they have pulled up 10 to 15 minutes late when I am there to pick my son up and this time he wasn't home for me to drop my son off! Isn't it HIS responsibility to be home for me to drop him off???? Jeez! He didn't tell me to be there AT noon, he said BY noon and he didn't call me until 12:15 so he wasn't even home at NOON! I've never been late picking up my son nor have I ever missed a pick up but I get bitched at for being EARLY to drop him off to him! You would think he would be happy about that, but no, it's just yet another excuse to make ME look like I'm the bad guy!

Was there a legal question in all this this or are you expecting Dr. Phil?

BB I thought you were Dr. Phil!!!! :D

Sorry, I put (rant) behind the title because I was doing just that. Sometime's it's just a little stress reliever to me to let everybody know what an a-hole my ex is so when I do have a real problem they will understand what I'm dealing with! I'll try not to let it happen again, but I can't guarantee anything, K? ;)
