CA help

What is the name of your state? California

I had to quite my job three months ago and move to be closer to my parents (I moved from N.Cal, to So. cal). They needed my help, as they have gotten older. Finding a job has been more difficult than I had thought and its taken me longer. Do I need to go to court to have my CS modified, or can the child support office (LA based) modify my child support based on my current condition?

Thanks for your help.

Your situation is voluntary, not involuntary. Not a valid reason to modify CS, usually.
