I live in Louisiana. When I met my current husband I was receiving alimony from my ex-husband since I had 4 children who were not of school age. Since then, my children are all in school and I have been working. The problem is that I have been working with my husband. If we divorce I can not go back to work there. It is a small business which is owned by his friends and he employed me. Does alimony come into play here and if so, for how long? Thanks for the help.
