Simple question regarding the legality of cutting a tree that is on my neighbor's property but whose branches extend into my yard and affect my crops. I've offered both to split and completely cover the cost of having the tree removed but have been denied both times. Can I legally remove the entire tree? The branches that extend over into my yard? Any advice would be appreciated.
I've attached some pictures of the tree below. The first picture outlines the boundaries and where the tree is. The fence closest to you is my property and the other is my neighbor's. The tree is on their property but as the next two pictures show, extend into my yard and causes some difficulties with the crops I grow. Thank you for your time.
