What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? TX

I have been following my TX order to the letter. Per the order I am to send the ex, the clerk, and the TX registry notification of a change of employment. To CMA I sent the letters registered mail. My ex did not sign for my letter---another member of his household did. I have a copy of the signature for the letter.

Should I have to go to court in the future a copyof the signed card should be sufficient that I provided proper notification, correct?

Unless the order specifies the means of delivery, first class mail is adequate, and a CMRRR is more than adequate. A CMRRR signed by an arguably responsible member of the household is fine. I wouldn't sweat the possibility of any issues in court over this, especially given the Clerk and the Registry were duly notified.

However if your ex has an attorney, you should also have sent notice to that attorney. Depends on how the order is worded.

LOL, my ex is an attorney---that's why I sent notification by registered mail etc.

The company kept changing my start date(three times). I sent the letter out 4 days before my start date when I received absolute confirmation that this would be the correct date. I also have a copy of all correspondance from the new employer showing the different dates and that these were TENTATIVE start dates.

When I first went back to work I called the county clerk who told me that because I was the CP and NOT paying support that I didn't need to send any notice. However, after reading the TX Family Code I CHOOSE to send notification.....
