My Dad has Alzheimer's. His sitter got him to marry her for his money and I have no trust or faith in her. They went to his Doctor and she told the doctor he was to give information only to her and my Dad agreed at the time. Now, he is in much worse shape and
I need to speak to my Dad's doctor about his Alzheimer's condition. My sister and I have co-power of attorney over my Dad's health but we are no longer speaking as she also cannot be trusted. Dad's doctor is refusing to speak with me. Is he obligated by law to speak with me even though I have only 1/2 the Power of Attorney? Do my sister and I have to ask him together? Does he not have to speak to either of us because Dad told him several months ago that he only wanted his wife to speak with the doctor?
