damaged repoed car?

I am sure if this is the right place to post this, but I need some advice fast. Yesterday my car was repoed. I have worked eveything out with the finance company and I have got the money together. What I am worried about is the possible damage to the car from the repo man. There are dark skid marks from my drive way a long ways down the road. My emergency brake was on and they had to grab it from the rear. My transmission could be damaged. Before I send the money today should I get them to fax me something about being responsible for any damages? What are my rights in this case?

You're not really in a position to be demanding anything. You should thank your lucky stars the finance company will work with you and that you can pay up. If your car got damaged because they had to repo it I don't really see how anyone is at fault but yourself. But if you get your car back and there's damage take the repo company to small claims and see what happens.
