deceased infant body exhumation

UPdate, the restraining order I mentioned, it had been served to my x boyfriend in another state last week. And the order of protection hearing is april 2nd.

My x boyfriend's advocate person called my couselor and he told her that they will still going through in getting the infant body exhumation case filed.I have not heard anything from them offically as of yet.My x boyfriend called my couselor two or three weeks ago and said he decides not to pursue it then last week his advocate called her and said they changed their mind and decides to pursue it.I think it's because my x got served with restraining order that they decide to go ahead with it.

I agree with you TBTN, he is doing now out of spite. maybe you can press some kind fo harassment charges against him. Hopefully you will get what you want and he'll finally leave you alone and let the past stay where it belongs, in the past.

That is what I am doing with restraining order, will have a hearing next week on that.The harrassment may have to be filed not only agianst my x boyfriend, but also his advocate, don't know if I could do that since his friend who is also his advocate works for the advocate center and he himself is a excutive officer for that place,this man the advocate had sent me three letters (one of them was sent a certified letter) saying that they will file a motion to get court order to have my deceased son's body exhumed.So far, nothing was being done about that yet. then the lastest contact is by the phone to my couselor.He knew I already said no to have my son's body exhumed and he continued to send the letter offically and unoffically.

So, don't know if I could or should also file harrassment agianst the advocate as an idvidual or agianst the center itself

******NEW UPDATES******

Went to the hearing for the restraining order on my x boyfriend. He was a no show this morning so the judge granted me the order of protection for three years!!!.

the strangest thing tho, on this situation, as an hearing impaired person, I called the courthouse to get an interpreter for me and my husband. they told me that my x boyfriend had also called the courthouse from california to request an interpreter for him.I assumed that would mean he would be here in courthouse.however, this morning my husband and I went there for a hearing and there were two interpreters who showed up (one for me and the other one for my x boyfriend.)by then the court is in session, he was a no show and I ended up with two interpreters.The judge made the note that he was informed that my x boyfriend had called the courthouse and said he would show up but also said that it appears that it was not a truth on my x boyfriend's part so therefore, I get the protection order that would be effective today and good untill three years.

Now next problem so far, he haven't still file the motion to get a court-order to have my son's body to be exhumed yet.I was told that the judge would more likely would not respond to such a motion being filed since the protection order is in place and that it would be my x-boyfriend's way of continuing harrassments by using the demand to exhume my son's body to have paternity test.

next step, relocation.
