What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Hawaii

Hello,

I recently purchased property in Hawaii (Paid cash) a Repo property – I requested to have the deed listed as XXXXX a married woman, as her sole and separate property. Looks like they filed it as XXXX a married woman and left out the “sole and separate property” part or missed it any rate it did not get added.

Is this going to make a difference let’s say for instance should my husband pass away? I would assume nothing else would be needed to be done to the title and I could sell it as sole owner since his name was never listed anyways?

If not is there a way for me to do a quick claim deed to myself and have the deed changed from XXXX a married woman to XXXXX a married woman as her sole and separate property?

I purchased this property strictly on savings of my own and my husband does not care if it is listed as mine exclusively. Reason being should my husband pass away before me - then I want to be able to pass on the property to heirs as I choose and or sell if I choose to do so.

If the way it is listed now will not cause any issues should my husband pass away before me then I will just leave it.

I do have a will where my husband is my sole beneficiary of my estate should I pass away before him and on his will I am the only beneficiary for his estate.

Thank you,What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
