I am having harrassment problems with a neighbor, I have filed a restraining order on both her and her husband, in retalitaion she in turn filed one on me. In her statement on the restraining order there are several false accusations made toward my family and I. She feels that since we are renter in our neighborhood that we should be evicted. She has accused us on numerous occassions that we are drug dealer and we hold large parties for underaged kids. We are continuously having the police brought out to our house and being accused of saying something to them. When in truth they are the ones saying things to us and we ignor them. I have several police reports backing up my problem with these people. I was wondering do I have a defamation of character suit situation, I want to attain the services of an attorney but not sure if this is considered family law or what. Any suggestion?????????thanks
