What was wrong with what I said there? Everything I said was pure fact about both the neighbor and the lawyer I was referring to. Truth is an absolute defense.

For the record, with the cats, the Humane Society finally DID remove the cat from their possession. So nowt that I ever was really all that worried about the case to begin with, even they know they have no case now since again...with the experts at the Humane Society agreeing that the cat was being mistreated, I again have truth as a defense.

Also..I live in a city. These are not "barn cats" nor were they adopted by the Humane society, nor were they fed nearly enough. (Barn cat adopters are supposed to provide both shelter AND food for them..NOT just expect them to get their full nutrition from catching mice...especially not in an urban area...which is a moot point because they don't adopt out barn cats to people who live in a cramped apartment with maybe a 6x10 foot yard and houses less than 8 feet away from them on both sides and on a super busy street. In fact, our local Humane Society makes people in the city area sign an affidavit swearing they will keep any cat indoors at ALL times. They will not even allow someone to adopt if they plan on making them an indoor/outdoor cat.) So none of that applies in any way to these cats.
