In my age discrimination suit - I recorded a customer comenting how sweet I was. The Defendant rounded the corner and asked "Did you say sweet or senile?"
The customer said she did not want to get involved and refused to sign an affidavit...meanwhile the Defendant had planned a supoena/deposition. WHY? It does not appear to be in her best interests to do this. The scheduled depo has been cancelled but I find it strange.
I have kept written records of incidents for 2 years. I have been terminated for two years and while I have records of incidents - my witnesses suffered loss of memory.
Any ideas? My attorney says my ex-boss - her attitude (and she lied so much) is going to hang herself if we go to court.
Still wonder if withdrawal of the deposition means they might consider settlement? I have records where she said I was slow, asked me if I had alzeimers, and did not teach me all the procedures an asst mgr should know.
Anybody got any ideas?
