What is the name of your state? CA

Ticketed for riding bike against flow of traffic in heavy fog. Next day a bicyclist was reported to have been hit and killed by a driver of a vehicle. Is there any defense against this ticket? I normally drive with traffic but due to the fog that week, I didn't that day.

Sure - just show that you weren't traveling against the flow of traffic...

The statute doesn't provide any exceptions so I would day, no, there is no defense.
