In late December 1999, I was informed I won an contest/award from my company. At the time I currently held the position in the resturant of unit manager. the contest ran from late december 1998 thru late december 1999. On january fith after 10 years with this company I self demoted to a shift manager seeking better opertunities at another company. I am still employed with the original employer and in good standing. The contest is over and was over prior to my demotion and I have won the prize, but now they tell me I am no longer eligable because I no longer hold the unit manager position. Do I have any options?

Practically do you intend to sue over this? Unless you do, there is no legal issue. It all should depend on the exact terms of the contest.
