What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

I got a notice of delay from the DOJ on my fingerprints.

When I was 20 I got a minor in possession of alcohol but was charged with an infraction. There is no way that would show as a misdemeanor is there?

I am applying for a teaching job, I have gotten jobs in the past. Not sure what is going on.

It could be something as simple as low staffing levels ... or, a computer glitch.

I wouldn't read too much into it.
