Hello,

Can a person who has a green card be deported from the country by INS just because there was a Restraining Order granted against him for a Domestic Violance case?

a friend of mine came to visit me from florida( he is from thailand).he works at carnival cruise line,he just finished his contract and been given a permission(he told me)to stay in the US for sometime.now he wants to stay here in the US and asked me what is the best way can he be legalized.is it possible?is there any way?if he stay with me a get caught will i be charge?
