What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California
I own a small business and made a deposit for $756.00 in October. The deposit consisted of all checks. I received a receipt, however, the deposit has not been credited to my account. When I inquired at the bank (Chase), I was told that the deposit was lost and they will research. I have been checking with then weekly since then and still no resolution and they have not credited my account. I did not keep a record of who the checks belonged to, however, two of my customers have notified me that their checks never posted.

Since I made the deposit and have a reciept, what is my recourse to get the funds deposited to my account?

Sue the bank if they don't voluntarily take care of the matter. They might get that impression if your lawyer is the one who starts to call them every day.
