Case- Age Discrimintion & Job Haressment. Depo due Jul 6. I can sit in on sessions. How should I act?Do I just shut up & listen even if defendant lies?..or my witnesses?

Yes, be quiet and listen. Better yet, don't go at all. What's the point? Everyone being deposed is under oath. If they are lying, that will become clear when their story isn't consistent with others.

Dont just sit and listen if you are representing yourself, you have a right to cross-examine just as in court. If you have an attorney, let him do the questioning but dont be afraid to clue him in on any point you may feel is important or any misrepresentation by the other side.

My response:

No, you don't have to shut up. When you know that the defendant is lying, you're allowed to fart. When the defendant's answer is completely unbelievable, you're allowed to projectile vomit.
