What is the name of your state? Texas
Mother died four years ago. Youngest brother(#3) is executor. He has harassed and threatened every beneficiary to the point nobody will even talk to him. I (brother #1) presently have three lawyers from the executor after me for things from stealing items from moms house to a forced sale to a civil suit accusing me of maiming him for life in a scuffle at moms house which I own 1/12 of. During the scuffle myself, middle brother(#2) were verbally threatened to be killed and physically pushed and hit by the executor. He was arrested that day by police. He has filed a civil suite against myself and middle brother saying we lied to police and beat him up for a sum of 100,000 dollars. The state vs youngest brother trail had been postponed three times by his hot shot lawyer. Before the last trail I called the DA and found out that the complaint in the case had disappeared from the Harris County court system. I had to refile the complaint. At the same time executor and his lawyer worked out a deal with middle brother and he agrees to money for his 1/12 of the house and 90 percent of what the estate owes him. They tell him he cannot volunteer info to me unless he is subpoenaed. Now they intend to come after me by myself. My middle brother and I were witnesses for the prosecution against him.
Is the fact that they exchanged money for any reason to get my middle brother out of the lawsuits and trails and not even attempt to negotiate with me illegal? Can executors lawyer and estate lawyers be sued for malpractice for conspiring together to distribute funds out of the estate to one beneficiary and not the rest of us? Some advice here would be helpful on which direction to go.
Is this a bribe? Is it just unethical or is it illegal?
