What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida

Are there any laws that would prevent me from kicking a friend out from my house? I allowed him to move in 20 months ago as he had a stroke, no money and no where else to go. He has paid for nothing; my daughter needs her room back (she has been sleeping on couch for several months since moving back home). Having made a comment that I was going to kick him out, he states that that is against the law since he is disabled. Please advise.
