What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Georgia

I sued a company headquartered in Arizona. My witnesses live in Georgia. How would I go about getting a disposition from out of state witnesses? Would I need subpoenas or can witnesses voluntarily give statements? Are they required to be present in court?

They can voluntarily show up or you can subpoena them. If you subpoena them you will need to pay their mileage. They would be required to be present in court unless you are going to pay for depositions that are sworn with opposing counsel present so he can cross examine and get the transcripts to submit to the court.

Where did you sue the company?

Maybe I misunderstood the question, but I think the OP wants to depose AZ witnesses in GA. (In which case a subpoena ain't going to cut it).

Sorry it has taken me so long to respond I've been ill. Ohio to answer your question I sued in Superior Court of Maricopa County, AZ. I live in Georgia, my witnesses live in Georgia. In this case would Interrogatories be better?

Witnesses are NOT parties and they are NOT required to answer discovery.

And even if your witnesses respond to your discovery requests, these alone will be worthless in court.

Your GA witnesses will either need to show up in the AZ court to corroborate their statements and be cross examined, or as suggested have them deposed at your expense with opposing counsel present to cross examine them.
