I live in Washington state, I am a single professional man who decided to follow through on his wishes to be a dad by adopting. I have great references, clean background check, educated, experienced caring for and teaching children. I had a homestudy completed and located 2 boys I wanted to adopt. The boys were in transition and doing well, but the foster mother at the time, and currently, does not want me to adopt them. She, and her private agency, have written letters to the state with many lies, the agency has falsified records and lied about conversations. They claim to have given me documents and to have had phone conversations with me that never happened. They filed a CPS referal against me that was proven to be false, but now the state licensor for the region refuses to allow my new homestudy to be completed, refuses to allow me to get a foster care license and has come out and stated that I am hiding something and I must be a child molestor. She has put wrong and inacurate information in my file. (Such as I am the youngest of three children- when I am the middle child of 11 and that I am estranged from my family when I visit them frequently and call my parents every weekend).
I have worked with children for years and have been a public official. I run a children's non profit. These women are very hateful. I have even had to go through a psychological evaluation which resulted in being told that they should look for more people like me to be parents. I am stuck. They don't want me to adopt. They try everything to get me to give up. What can I do? I don't have much money left after all the fighting I have had to do. I want to be a dad to these kids. They are trying to ruin my life.
Any information would be a great help.

Bring charges against them for falsifying information, defmation of character, slander, and anything else you can come up with. Have everyone you know, family included write depositions on your behalf.

Most important, contact an attorney.
