I was discriminated against in my former work place because I wasn't family or a close friend. I was never promoted in name or compensation. Only in work load. I now can't state on my resume a number of things I did because I never received the Title-only the job. The owners son works there along with the General Managers son, daughter, husband, close personal friend of the son and personal friend of the General Manager. I trained several of them and they were hired making thousands more than I to start. I want to know if I have any recourse?? Thanks for any help. I'm in NC

I don't practice in NC, but based on California law, I would say that you do not have a recognized case of employment discrimination. Unless of course you have a company handbook that states they will not do such things as showing hiring preference to family members, etc.
