My mother, who lives in a 55+ mobile park, babysits my 10 year old daughter.
She has done so for the entire 6 years that she has lived there. Suddenly there is a problem with this. After meeting with the property manager she has recieved premission for her to continue watching my daughter. But that my daughter is not to have any contact with the other tenants. These are elderly people, some of whom my daughter has developed strong bonds with over the past 6 years. My mother was told that if she tries to persue this at all she will be met with "great opposition and immediate eviction". Is there such thing as reverse discrimination? Is this disrimination or just really unfair and we should just drop it and get over it?

Yes, there is... but this isn't.

Drop it. The problem is that when she moved in there, she very likely signed an agreement to abide by the rules of the community. And this is one of them. And yes, lawsuits have been lost on this... usually by the resident(s).
