I have a situation where I made a transaction with
paypal.com. I never received my merchandise. I did purchase the merchandise w/
a credit card. However, I was told that this purchase is not insured
by the credit card company. The law states however I can submit in
writing for a investagation. So I was looking for what I could write to
try to persuade them not to hold me liable. If you can email some words
of wisdom I would greatly appreciate it. It is close to christmas and
I just got taken for almost a thousand dollars.

If you did not receive the item you paid for with the credit card, call the credit card company and tell them you are disputing the charge for this reason. They will send you paperwork to complete and should be able to credit your charge.

My response:

Lesson learned: Stop purchasing things on the Internet. There are more cheats, crooks, and swindlers out there than you can shake a stick at.

The Internet does not provide you with enough safety and security for transactions, despite what some sites say.

And, when you live 3,000 miles away from a seller, how to you think you're going to enforce a purchase that's gone bad? File a Federal lawsuit? Spend lot's of money on plane fares and litigation?

It's NOT WORTH IT !! Buy locally.
