What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Illinois
When my child turned 18, she voluntarily moved out. I swore she couldn't come back but after finding herself homeless in 6 weeks, she moved back in. At the time she moved out, I sent her a certified letter advising her she had 30 days to remove all belongings from my home.
She has been back for 3 weeks and has done nothing but create havoc. We have bigger problems now than we had before she moved out the first time.
I am wondering if she is still entitled to the same landlord/tenant rights that she was prior to voluntarily moving out or could this be construed as a temporary situation? She has to leave and take her belongings with her. I want to be sure I do this legally and I'm not sure where to find answers.
