What is the name of your state? California

This question is along the lines of a younger lady who becomes an older man's second wife. The older man suffers a disease which leaves him mentally incompetent - with his second wife now taking care of him and his medical needs. The younger lady eventually files for divorce. When the family tries to get a glimpse of the older man's/couples finances the divorce has magically been reconciled by the couple.

This is probably a common situation but has anyone had experience with it or knows possible outcomes. I'd be happy to answer other questions regarding the situation

Talk to a family law attorney to find out whether you should file guardianship for him and thus be in control of the finances.

You really have no business asking her how she spent the money since she is allowed to do this while married to him. How much is he worth?
