What is the name of your state? pennsylvania
i have been attempting to get a divorce since jan. 2001. pennsylvania has a two year waiting law. what is the start of that two year period? how do you get the courts to intervene and determine. i filed for divorce in jan., which was mutually agreed upon several months before. though we shared the same roof we never shared the same rooms in the house. i have had an attorney since day 1. i am no further ahead now then i was a year and a half ago. i have no idea what's next. four months ago we filed an affidavit declaring that a two year has already elapsed. the other party had an attorney filed a counter affidavit saying that there hadn't been. of course both parties aren't going to agree, that's what I thought the courts were there for. at some point in time someone has to intervene and decide on that date. who is that person, how do you get then to intervene. and even a bigger question is then what. isn't that pretty said that i've had an attorney for all this time and i don't know the answers to these questions. would somebody please give me some advice.

Your future ex is the primary cause in this mess. He might be one that is the reason to stall on divorce.

Pay up Judge more money for faster divorce. That what my wife did to pay Judge to force her ex to sign divorce deed.
