Tennesse About 2 weeks ago I bought a box of sudafed from walgreens and a ways down the road I was pulled over.Well i wasn't thinking anything of it till the had their guns drawn on me and told me to put my hands up.THen one of them pulled me out of my car and started choking me telling me to spit it out when I had nothing to begin with and kept telling him I didn't but he keep choking me anyway.Then they started to search threw my car and cell phone without even asking for my premission to do so and I had no idea what was going on and keep asking them and they keep saying it was a narcotic bust yet there were no narcotics and when I told them that their wasnt any. they said that I was seen buying sudafed from walgreens which isnt a crime to my knowledge and I was sick and just needed some.I keep asking what was going on and they said you know whats going on and I said I didnt so they said again I was seen buying sudafed and said it was a precursor to making meth which then I told them I dont do drugs and even said I'd take a drug test which one of them said he had one and I followed him to the front of his car but turns out he didnt have one.I guess he didnt think I'd actually take one but like I told them I dont do drugs and I bought the box because I was sick but they still didnt believe me and threaten to take me for jail for not stopping for blue lights when I pulled over as soon as I saw them behind me and keep asking me to give them some information or give someone up that sells drugs.I told them I didnt know anyone and they said you dont know anyone that sells pills,dope, anything and I told them no I dont do drugs again.so finally I guess they believe me and told me to pop the pills out of the packs and crush them on the ground and I could go so I did cus at that point i was jsut ready to go home after all that.so in the end I went home sick with no medicine, a sore throat and a bruise on my throat where he had choked me that lasted for about 4 days.All in all guess i should just be lucky that they didnt plant something on me and take me to jail after everything that was done im suprised they didnt.
I really cant see where any of this was legal and sure as hell should have been against my rights to stop me choke me and search me, my car, and through my cell phone without asking or no just cause.I was thinking about getting a lawyer and sueing them but dont know if I'd win since its the police and they can pretty much do as they like but anyway does anyone think I might actually have a case.
