Last March, While working,I fell on the job,Iam a caepenter here in Florida,I did most my work building condos.I told my superviser that day.I told him I had fallen, and hurt my back, but I think I would be alright!TWO days later he called me in the office, and said, they did not need me anymore,I am not the man, they need for the job.I asked him for the accident report, which he had never made out!I told him, my back was still giving me porblems, and I want to see a doctor! He gave the number to the safety man,and I got to see a doctor.Workers comp.has done there part so far,yet now that I am real close to being approved for retraning, they want to settle, but In the settlement paper, ther is a clause in there saying I left the JOB,but thats not TRUE,he fired me after I reported an injury!I have never been layed off or fired in 15 years, can I sue them for wrongful termation???and why are they putting that in with my medical? Are they trying to pull a fast one?......any advice,I thank you,.....

If you are handling this on your own, and they are the pros, they possibly are playing you for the fool.

How do you know what a fair settlement is or should be? In some states (and I don't know about Florida) it is a separate offense to retaliate against someone injured on the job for trying to collect workers comp. See a local workers comp lawyer -- AttorneyPages.com lists some -- and they do not charge for an initial consultation.
