What is the name of your state? california

I know this is in the wrong area but I wasnt sure where to post it. Here is what happened to me at cvs pharmacy today. Wondering if I have a case. And the guy who confronted me was a obvious gang member.

I am wondering if I have a case worthwhile pursuing. Today I went into the local sav-on by my house. I asked to purchase some allergy medicine that is behind the front counter (drixoral). I need this medicine because I have sever allergies. You must be at least 18 to purchase drixoral. I am 24 and have regularly bought it at this location before without anyone ever asking me for my id. Today when I asked to buy some, an employee asked to see my id. I gave him my id he looked at it and than told me he needs to make a copy of it. He than went and proceeded to make a copy of it. After he had made a copy of it he came to me and told me that he could not sell me the drixoral because when he scanned it and made the copy the hologram or something along these lines should also show up in the copy which it did not. Implying that my drivers license is a fake id. I told him that this is bull**** and that its a real id he told me he was the manager and he cannot sell it to me because of this. all the guy did was scan it. Anyway's after all this had happened I again told him this was bull**** and said F-this store. An employee of theirs had clocked out and walked out of the store the same time I was exiting. The employee than confronted me and threatened me, challenged me to a fight around the corner, and made several other comments involving guns and being shot. I would like to sue sav-on for 1) not selling me the medicine that I wanted when I showed them a valid ID (my DL does not expire until 11-16-07) and for 2) an employee threatening me and challenging me to a fight and shooting me etc etc. Do you think I have a case?

Not at all. The drug store does not have to sell anything to anyone if they don't want to, and the store is not responsible for the conduct of an individual employee, especially if he is off duty. You could have called the police on the guy who threatened you, but I suspect it's a bit late now.

Isn't the whole point of having something like a hologram on a driver's license be non-reproduceable, is so someone can NOT copy the license and make a fake ID?

I am not familiar with the drug you were attempting to purchase, or why it is restricted. But I would keep a close eye on your credit reports to make sure they don't try any identity theft.

I usually have grass pollen allergies this time of year when grass is going to seed, and Benadril or similar usually took care of it in the past. But since I started using NasalCrom early summer a few years back, it doesn't hardly bother me. And since NasalCrom is just a buffer rather than a medicine, if it gets really bad, or I did not start NasalCrom early enough when grass started pollenating, I can still take Benadril until the NasalCrom starts working. I did hear that people in California are having bad allergies this year.
