What is the name of your state? missouri
I was just notified by an ex girlfriend that the child she once told me wasnt mine, is really mine. the child support division established paternity and I went to court and found out the payment. I was 15 when she had the baby and was told it wasn't mine. can they go for all that back child support? there was no custody arrangement made in court, only child support. she kept calling and "remembering" old times and crying why i wouldn't take her back. I think the only reason she wants the child support is to have me back in her life. if i get him for a visit and dont return him, then apply for custody in my state will i get in trouble? what do i do.

Yes, if you get him for a visit and then don't return him you could get into a great deal of trouble. Your state doesn't have jurisdiction, the child's home state has jurisdiction.

what do i do if i already have the child?

Sorry - I just realized there is likely no order. Bring the kid back to Mom as expected, and then deal with visitation/custody in court.

Dude - you need to return the kid. At this point you need to show good faith - if you keep him, it is entirely likely that any future time you have him will be 100% supervised.

That is no ones problem but your own. Crystal ball says you may be spending a nite or two in a little room with no windows and a door that locks from the outside.

Rent a car, borrow a car, take a bus, take a train, take a plane....but return the child! You are about to cause yourself enormous grief.
