A credit card company that I do business with confused my account with that of another and deposited money into my bank account. Do I have to pay the money back for their mistake?

My response:

Simple answer : Yes. Unless you're looking for a lawsuit against you for "Unjust Enrichment", I would suggest that you make this as simple as possible for yourself, and return the money.
