Do I need a Lawyer in Foreclosure

What is the name of your state? Indiana

I'm about to be foreclosed on. I've relocated for my job and have not been able to rent the house at even close to a break even price. I think I paid 15-20k too much for the house based on market analysis from Real Estate agents. I'm letting GMAC take the house, hopefully they'll take a deed in lieu but who knows. I just want to get this over with and start rebuilding my credit. Should I consult with an attorny? What kind, a BK attorney or Real Estate Attorney?

You should get a real estate attorney; he will want a lot of money up front.

try to find lease to own renters. They are a great option to find a buyer for your home and to at least try to break even on your payments. If you dont have money to pay for the home you will probably have little money to pay lawer. Try seeing if you cant get a someone to help you probono of fing other info online as to how to put your property for sale like that. Lease to own are a great attaction for current renters that dont have the credit to purchase a property of their own.
