My grandmother is under guardianship and needs to be moved into assisted living. We want to rent her house to supplement her income but the guardianship attorney says we have to sell it. Is this true? She has money to pay for assisted living without selling it but he said if she isn't living in it, it has to be sold before they use any of her savings. Funny thing is all the fees he charges is being paid from her savings. Please help!

Who is granny's guardian? Is this a limited or plenary guardianship? If so, who is guardian over what? There's nothing "funny" about the attorney being paid with granny's money.
