What is the name of your state? Florida

I have been on workers comp since Nov. 2005.
I am a painter and slipped on slippery surface and injured left knee.
All tests showed torn medial meniscus.
Orthopedic Doctor says that there is arthitis there and knee is bone on bone. He can not repair the meniscus. I would need total knee replacement.
He states that the arthitis was there before injury, but the injury made it flare up. (I never had pain before the injury).
I have been prescribed a leg brace. I was at the doctors this morning and once again he says no work. I go back the end of May.
I have been receiving my checks from workers comp with no problem.
Do you think they will put up a fight when they see total knee replacement needed and that there was arthitis already there? What is the name of your state?
