What is the name of your state?FL
I sold my business in 2001 the buyer filed Chapter 7 Bankruptcy in 2003. I had a UCC filing with the state to secure the equipment I sold with the business until I was paid in full. The buyer sold the equipment.

The attorney who handled the sale (claims he was never notified) neither was I.
I have been to the police and state attorney (they claim this is a civil matter).

Does anyone know of any precedence pertaining to a Bankruptcy being revoked after the 1-year time limit?

No I was never notified a letter went to my attorney but he states he never got it, and yes it has been discharged.

I would think that having a UCC filing with the state to protect my property until it was paid for was enough, but I guess not. The person that filed bankruptcy even admitted selling the property to the police department.
