What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Maine

We purchased a vehicle in NH in april 08, a 2000 ford contour sport. When we purchased it we told them it looked like something underneath was rusted so they replaced it in the rear end of the vehicle (cant think of hte name) we were told it would take 2 days, and 2 days ended up turning into a week. We finally got it home and after the 3 month 3000 mi warranty one of my boyfriends brake lines snapped and he had to fix it. He knows how to fix brakes so didn't think much of it but Last month he noticed the brakes acting up and just figured he needed brakes fixed. Nothing to big, just felt basic brake wear. We just went to get it inspected and found it needs a New rear struts, new brake lines, RR brake hose, rotors and RR E brake cable, maybe calipers!!! Garage is a very good garage, been doing business with them for years and arn't shady in any way, have a very good reputation.

Is their anyway we can go after the dealer under lemon law as we just got a quote for almost 1300$ worth of work when we havent had the car a year yet and we have already replaced the alternator as well. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

This is mostly maintenance stuff.

Even if they weren't, the lemon law does not apply.

The car is 9 years old ~ these items are subject to wear and tear.
