My boyfriend (16) was living with his mother one week and his father the next. His father was extremely mean and abusive to him. After my boyfriend said he didn't want to go with his father anymore, his father would not give him his things back. My boyfriends mother now has full custody but the father will still not give him his things back. The father has some of my boyfriends clothes, his guitars, his CD's, his pictures, some school books, and much more. The thing is, some of that stuff was gifts from the father. Does my boyfriend still have the right to get his stuff back even though some of it was gifts? And if so, how would he go about doing it?
