Hi, I filed for chapter 7 recently and am such a nervus filer! :o ...I am constantly contacting my lawyer with questions and I think she is getting tired of me. (can totaly understand why) I noticed the other day when reviewing my papers that there was a negitive 60.00 to my bank account that she didn't add. When I emailed her to tell her this her reply was "Sorry I missed the change on the account balance. When the Trustee questions you at the meeting about any changes, you can tell him about the negative balance and he/she will most probably not want to see an amendment." I am going to feel so awful contacting her again to ask her "what is an amendment? What do I do if the trustee asks for one? will I have to come back to the meeting of creditors another day?" Can anyone answer these questions for me instead please! Thankyou!!

You will be asked if you have any changes you wish to make on your petition.
Just tell the trustee the what happened. Nobody will make a fuss over $60.

BTW, amending a schedule just means you have something incorrect and you submit an addition to the schedule {an amendment}. No biggie!
