Dui and expungement

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? ca
i wanted to know if some has got a expungement done? now does it really not show on record? how long does it take to process if it does really work? will it say the offence you did / expunged next to it if it shows?

Is there any ways to get jobs after a dui.... real estate, doctor,nurse, officer, animal officer, any type of officer? basicly i guess im asking can you get goverment jobs?

i can only talk about hospitals but i got a good job after my dui. they werent concerned about that kind of history. they are looking for any violence or offences towards children or the elderly.
i know for a fact that my hospital hired a woman with quite a background of drug abuse. they gave her another chance, but she blew it again. it shouldnt be impossible to get a job almost anywhere you want, a lot of places are willing to give you another chance.
